Pricing & credits

How plans, conversation credits, and overage pricing work on Msgera.

Msgera bills on top of Meta's conversation-based pricing. Each plan includes a monthly bundle of conversation credits; usage above the bundle is billed at a flat per-conversation overage rate.

What counts as a conversation

A conversation is a 24-hour window opened the first time you and a customer exchange messages. Every message inside the same window — both directions — falls under the same conversation. Meta defines four categories that price differently:

FieldTypeDescription
marketingcategoryPromotional templates: launches, offers, newsletters.
utilitycategoryAccount updates, order status, OTPs sent via templates.
authenticationcategoryOne-time passcodes and verification codes.
servicecategoryFree-form replies sent inside an open customer-initiated window.

Credits

One credit covers one conversation regardless of category — Msgera absorbs the price differences across categories so your billing stays predictable. Unused credits roll over for one month.

Free tier

Every workspace gets 1,000 free service conversations per month from Meta. Msgera applies these automatically before drawing from your credit bundle.

Overage pricing

Once your bundle is exhausted, additional conversations are billed at the rate listed on your pricing page. You can set a hard monthly cap in the dashboard to prevent surprise bills — Msgera will stop dispatching marketing templates once the cap is hit.

Invoices

Invoices are issued on the first of each month and include a per-line breakdown of conversations by category, plan fees, and any credits applied. Download them under Settings → Billing.
